text : Colossians 1: 24-25
date : January 31, 2021
24Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church: 25.Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; (KJV)
SUMMARY
In today's text, Paul the Apostle presents the standard of the saints as Christ's body with his own example. It is to fill up the thing which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in his flesh. This is because of the homogeneity that flows between Christ, the head of the church, and his members. In other words, there is an invisible order in the church, which is the body of Christ, which forms a pattern called "the afflictions of Christ", so no matter what part of the pattern is separately looked into, each one shows Christ's afflictions. »çµµ ¹Ù¿ïÀº ¿À´Ã º»¹®¿¡¼ ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ »ç·Ê¸¦ ÅëÇØ ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¸öÀ¸·Î¼ÀÇ ¼ºµµÀÇ Ç¥ÁØÀ» Á¦½ÃÇÑ´Ù. ±×°ÍÀº ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ³²Àº °í³À» ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ À°Ã¼¿¡ ä¿ì´Â °ÍÀÌ´Ù. 1 Corinthians 12:27 defines the saints as "you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it." The members of the body cannot be individual or independent, separated from the head due to their nature. They are just the parts that make up the body, all connected to Christ, the their head, under the direction of the head, and under the control of the head. God' will is to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ(Ephesians 1:10)." °í¸°µµÀü¼ 12Àå27ÀýÀº ¼ºµµ¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¡°³ÊÈñ´Â ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¸öÀÌ¿ä ÁöüÀÇ °¢ ºÎºÐ¡±À̶ó°í ±ÔÁ¤ÇÑ´Ù. ¸öÀÇ Áöü´Â ±× ¼Ó¼º»ó ¸Ó¸®¿Í ºÐ¸®µÈ ä °³º°ÀûÀ̰ųª µ¶ÀÚÀûÀÏ ¼ö ¾ø´Ù. ±×°ÍµéÀº ´Ù¸¸ ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ¸öÀ» ±¸¼ºÇÏ´Â °¢°¢ÀÇ ºÎºÐµé·Î¼ Çϳª°°ÀÌ ±×µéÀÇ ¸Ó¸®À̽б׏®½ºµµ¿¡°Ô ¿¬°áµÇ¾îÀÖ°í ¸Ó¸®ÀÇ Áö½Ã¸¦ ¹ÞÀ¸¸ç ¸Ó¸®ÀÇ ÅëÁ¦ ¾Æ·¡ ÀÖ´Ù. God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be(1 Corinthians 12:18). The fact that the saints lose their own individuality and just function as members of Christ, such as Christ's hand, Christ's nose, and Christ's feet, means that they have already encountered their own death in the death of Jesus. This is why they may not consider themselves to be real. Furthermore, they match their identity to the state of the beginning, "Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters(Gen. 1:2)." In other words, they can surrender themselves to 'the operation of the Spirit of God' while recognizing themselves as 'nothingness', formlessness, emptiness, and darkness. ´õ ³ª¾Æ°¡ ±×µéÀº ¡°¶¥ÀÌ È¥µ·ÇÏ°í °øÇãÇϸç Èæ¾ÏÀÌ ±íÀ½ À§¿¡ ÀÖ°í Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ½ÅÀº ¼ö¸é¿¡ ¿îÇàÇϼ̴Ù(â1:2)¡±´Â ÅÂÃÊÀÇ »óÅ¿¡ ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ Á¤Ã¼¼ºÀ» ÀÏÄ¡½ÃŰ°Ô µÈ´Ù. ´Þ¸® ¸»ÇÏÀÚ¸é ±×µéÀº ÀڽŵéÀ» ¡®¾øÀ½¡¯ °ð ÅÂÃÊÀÇ °øÇã, È¥µ·, Èæ¾ÏÀ¸·Î ÀνÄÇÏ´Â °¡¿îµ¥ ¡®Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ½ÅÀÇ ¿îÇàÇϽɡ¯¿¡ ÀÚ½ÅÀ» ³»¾î¸Ã±æ ¼ö ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀÌ´Ù.
What is revealed only when the place of human "being" is removed is the covenant between the Father and the Son before the creation of the world, and the afflictions of the Son entailed in that covenant, that is, his blood shed on cross. In other words, this is the reality of creation recognized by the saints. : "God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross(Col. 1:19-20). Therefore, all things were created to testify Jesus' blood shed on the cross and are involved in the afflictions of Christ in some way, moving in the direction of causing the suffering of Christ. This is the consistency of God's dispensation of all things. The saints are those who are seized by the consistency of God who applies the afflictions of Christ to them. µû¶ó¼ ¸¸¹°Àº ¿¹¼ö´ÔÀÇ ½ÊÀÚ°¡ÀÇ ÇǸ¦ Áõ°Å Çϱâ À§ÇÏ¿© âÁ¶µÇ¾ú°í ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ °í³À» À¯¹ßÇÏ´Â ¹æÇâÀ¸·Î ¿òÁ÷ÀÌ¸ç ¾î¶² ½ÄÀ¸·Îµç ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ °í³¿¡ ¿¬·çµÇ¾î ÀÖ´Ù. It has been known to the saints that they were chosen by God to function not only as sinners causing the afflictions of Christ, but also as members of Jesus who would fill up the thing which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in their fleshes. They have been summoned to fulfill the word of God, not by their own will, but unilaterally by the Holy Spirit. Because they are not their own ; they were bought at a price.(1 Corinthians 6:19-20). ¼ºµµµé¿¡°Ô´Â ÀڽŵéÀÌ ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ °í³À» À¯¹ßÇÏ´Â ÁËÀÎÀ¸·Î¼ »Ó ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ ³²Àº °í³À» ÀڽŵéÀÇ À°Ã¼¿¡ ä¿ì°Ô µÇ´Â ¿¹¼ö´ÔÀÇ Áöü·Î¼ÀÇ ±â´ÉÀ» Çϵµ·Ï Çϳª´Ô¿¡ ÀÇÇØ ÅÃÇϽÉÀ» ¹Þ¾Ò´Ù´Â °ÍÀÌ ¾Ë·ÁÁ³´Ù. ±×µéÀº ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ ÀÇÁö¿¡ ÀÇÇؼ°¡ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ÀϹæÀûÀ¸·Î ¼º·É´Ô¿¡ ÀÇÇؼ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ¸»¾¸À» ÀÌ·ç´Â ¼ÒÁýµÇ¾î¹ö·È´Ù. ¿Ö³ÄÇÏ¸é ±×µéÀº ±×µé ÀÚ½ÅÀÇ °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó °ªÀ¸·Î »ê °ÍÀÌ µÇ¾ú±â ¶§¹®ÀÌ´Ù(°íÀü6:19-20).
In the process, as did David(Ps. 22:1) and the apostle Paul(2 Cor. 11:22-27), they participate in testifying that only the afflictions of Jesus Christ really exists. This is a sign of God's love for the chosen ones, and in itself to join the Lord's salvation. ±× °úÁ¤ ¼Ó¿¡¼ ´ÙÀ(½Ã22:1)ÀÌ ±×·¯Çß°í »çµµ ¹Ù¿ï(°íÈÄ 11: 22-27)ÀÌ ±×·¯ÇßµíÀÌ ÂüÀ¸·Î Á¸ÀçÇÏ´Â °ÍÀº ¿¹¼ö ±×¸®½ºµµÀÇ °í³»ÓÀÓÀ» Áõ°Å ÇÏ´Â ÀÏ¿¡ Âü¿©µÈ´Ù.
